Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

similar to "dynamics with end position"

So I made this dynamic explosion in Maya 8 and composited it into a still. At the end the resulting smoke turns into a heart shape kinda.

Is there any way to constrain the smoke to a general shape such as a heart, a turbulent field maybe that is keyed to follow the smoke up?

any thoughts?

Whats it made from?

I would make a heart shape and then use that as a goal for wither the fluid or the particles (or both)

Well your using a 3d container, so your using fluids.

You could paint the density at a ciritan point to make the shape, that might work.
