head light help

hi everyone, i want to make a head light like this with clear glass but some stripes on it, and a corner light like that, i have seen the 3D studio Max tutor, don't really get it...it seems easy to u people to make them right? can anyone explain how to do it with maya...? thanks

um...the clear corner light
it's clear glass, but some lines on it, how do u do that? =]

man good luck on that.. I am having the same problem figuring that out... what if you made the inside chrome, with reflectivity of 1 and make sure the glass doesn't cast shadows, and then put a texture map, procedural or a file... Maybe that would work,
