Well I'm posting this here since Kev just got a bike recenty so that's why user added image

anyway..today I was fixing my car in the dealership and while waiting, right next to it, they were selling everything from dirt bikes to sport ones...

so I got talking to the sales person and he recommended me the Suzuki GSXR 600 as a good newbie bike...

I like the price too (8K USD)... but I was wondering what you guys think...

That is a sweet bike (suzuki). Me and my friends hired them out couple of year ago. I think Suzuki bikes in general are termed as hooligan bikes:-) The bike is awesome.
I haven't been uptodate with bikes for couple of years but you won't go wrong with most japanese bikes.
Although if I was spending my money I would go with Yamamha or Honda...Kawasaki...hmm suzuki...hmm....Aprillia....it's difficult. Just get one and be a hooligan :-)

I'll do my homework on this and I'll see what I'll do...

I dont want to sell my car though... I think I'd still need a car for regular (wet season) ... Here in Florida when mid May hits, it's raining EVERY day up until July so... user added image
