Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Tucking pants into boots...?

using cloth, how wud i go about making it so that the bottoms on a character are tucked into the boots. i've tried making the cloth object and then running the anim onto the character to a set point. then i save the initial cloth state and then make the boots collision objects. then i run another animation with the boots scaling down onto the feet.

It kinda works, but i still get a lot of poke throughs. is there another way, without using polygon modelling? anything to suggest that mite improve the results and stop the cloth poking through the boots?

thanks for ur time
