This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Cracker, thanks for the intrest, I'll tell you about it in the very next post.

Hear is some engine mounts with lots of constraints going on. there 2 universal joints each on hydrolic dampeners. Probly overkill but its fun. Still need to make the body mounts for the.

I amsume it's just a case of doing lots of splits then just extruding the lot?

yes but missing one thing.
I do the splits. but just one line between each pannel. I thin do a bevel with the roundness set to 0 and only one divistion, this seperaits all the edges in to 2 and there evenly placed. thin I extrued the centers of the pannels. For if there is not enufe space between the pannels it will not trap enugh shadow to make the detail visable good.
