Threads

hi all just got maya 2010 and i have scenes that im rendering paintfx and i realized that maya is dropping some threads when rendering hair but when i render other scenes its usually picks up all my processors

I think that some parts of Maya are not multithreaded, they keep upping them whth service packs/updates.
