Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Here is a close up of the foot, so you have an idea of what it will look like, but I still need to ad toes.... Its 2:45 in the morning, between working on this and my Harrier and Jeep, I am ready for bed. Gotta wake up in 3 hours to go to work. I will post more tomorrow (well, later today). Thanks,
Brian

wow that looks so damn cool! ALmost like a "moon lander" meets those massive spherical things from attack of the clones (Troop transports i think).

The only thing I would say is that the edges on the feet are a little hard on the bottom bits. Maybe they could be bevelled a little bit to look less hard. Do you know what I mean? But I guess that will also be done in texturing.

Excellent work though

Looking great! The little detail in such a big object really makes it look nice!

Wow, i love where this is going. Very cool.... btw, why did you tilt his head up? that is just weird..... well, maybe you could rig it to do that user added image. BTW, i want a video of you modelling man... to see this speed and technique... like, i truly am shocked over these speeds. Wow again.
