Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

What should I use my points for?

I accumulated 25 points a LONG LONG LONG time ago from winning a modeling competition and from being a "good poster" and whatnot when points used to be given out for that and have never used a single one of them. I suppose I'll go ahead and make good use of them now, but I have no idea what tutorial to invest in.

Any suggestions on what I should get with my points?

I'd say the main thing I'm not too keen on is nurbs patch models and texturing them.

-Thanks

Ok first of all i too am not keen into nurbs and myself prefer polygon modeling , now what i would recommand you into using the points depends on your own self interst........
the first choice you have to make is if you`d like to have it in
-modeling
-animation

I would like for myself the modeling tutorial as i am more into modeling but its totally upto you as to where your intesrt lies.....when through this choice you`d have to choose between
-basic modelign as in just modeling or the whole deal as in texturing and rendering and stuff
-basic animation or effects and rendering

Also it all depends on which level of skill you find your self in.

But the best use of the 25 points what i`d recommand you is

1.If into modeling Machines and diffinitly go for the Assult Mech by kurt as it is easily completed in only 22 points and you can have it on Dvdr for 25 points

2. If into human anatomy then you can go for Organic Modeling 2 as it comparisis of only 21 points and 24 points if on DvDr

3. You can also have the Apache Animation in the animation section but i really wouldnt recommend that. But its only upto you

Pick up the new tutorials as they come out. Normal mapping, particle explosion, etc. Just because you have them, doesn't mean you have to use them right now.
