VIRUS!!!!HELP

hi all,
i have gotten a program installed, actually it installed itself! now i cant delete it!! ITS CALLED "THE best offers" it came when i downloaded a freeware software online! i cant delete it!, please help me!

Adware. Most likely installed by a virus or doing something stupid.

Run that and post the results here.

It will be a detailed list of all your processes and various other crappies in your computer which basically shows advanced users (like us) what the hell your computer is doing... to better provide a fix.

Read the fine print in the EULA

And for the love of crap uninstall the Freeware... that's why its "Free" -- they get money for each ad you see/click.

How could HijackThis! work perfectly? All it does is diagnoses the problem, not fix it.

no, it said "would you like to delete the selected adware?" and i selected it and said delete

What also works sometimes is a simply system restore to before the point the problem originally occurred.
