Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

booleans

not sure if i am the only 1 with this problem....

i tried booleans - difference 2 times. for the eye socket for my model head

first time, it created a concave hole i wanted...

second time for the other eye socket...after booleans - difference the whole model disappear ..

pls advise thks

a friend of me, told me that he's having the same problem on his comp, but when i tried, its OK on my comp

Booliens do that sometimes, try making sure you delete the history.

In my opinion I would not use boolians at all if possible, as they are buggy and cause unpredictable results in your mesh geometry.

Yeah, you have to ensure both geometries completely intersect each other prior to the op.
