Heya Jay,

I agree with Dave on the back of the knees, can we see a closeup and a wire? Also, the ankles and the elbow look really neat, I can never get those right user added image

Hey Guys

Sorry for the delay in updates, been busy on a tute for here and have had a few probs with that on the sound so had to redo somestuff to stay on track.

Anyway have begun the up the neck and shoulders and am busy tweaking that, I will detach probably half the neck from the head as the uvs are done in that area so the seam wont exist on the finished article eventually, this will enable me to keep the rig tidy for the facial expressions too. Also have tweaked areas here and there, the rib cage is now far better in proportion as are the arms in relation to the body, they were just a little short before. Still have issues with other areas, but they will get done soon

Anyway onwards and upwards...

man those wires make it look so simple!!! but we know its not.
Really good progress, any tuts from jay would be good, but yeah some kind of full head right through to the toes tut would be cool.

Hey Tim/Magicsy

I take it you like it then?

A tute from this? holy crap I think Id go insane. Maybe someday, but right now Im really being picky with this model, as its for my own personal project, shes the lead character. Also Im hoping to put this forward for my cv/reel for the near future too. But I'll gladly zip you some wires if you PM me your address.

What I will say with doing things like this as a tute, its good people can follow, but the understanding of anatomy must 'run' alongside the model as you are doing it,
I tell you what Ive realized from doing this model is, that we all have this built up mental picture of what our perfect human should look like despite all the reference in the world, we all have a slight fantasy of how things should be which I believe people like to instill as opinions/tastes of whats right and wrong on this type of work, without the understanding of anatomy. Theres almost this gray area we like to think we live in

Does that make sense? LOL

lol deep stuff!
but yeah i understand, its like nearly everything i model i have infront of me, which makes modeling very easy u can really study it well. i guess understanding the anatomy is kinda the same.

LoL its late.........i think i make sense user added image
