My internet got disconnected for a few days.. just got it turned back on.. heres some new renders.. getting close to the final render...

I have to agree too that the second looks more realistic user added image
I do like the light colour in the first, the only thing that doesnt look realistic are the metal parts on the right - like they are too shiny or something.

You didn't turn off your global illumination did you? Anyway, the renders look awsome as ever. Not much at all to critique. Have any idea where your going to go with your final render?

Thanx THX1138, Ya I turned glob illum off. I tried glob illum with photon shaders. It looked ok but I really cant get any kind of interactivity out of maya to make adjustments because the renders take so long on my computer.. even at 320x240 and if I turn on FG.. forget about it.. So I'm just going with Final Gather and a HDR image. I have one point light in the center of the room casting raytraced shadows with a quadratic falloff as well.

I will play around with some of the settings some more. I wont change anything compositionally. There are a few things I'd like to fix. Textures also, but overall I'm happy and this last one may end up being my final image.
