Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Ok more of my crap...I get so frustrated not being able to draw properly...still thats why Im a Surveyor I suppose and not an arteest.

All are freehand...descriptions will tell you if its a replicate...the alien I started but never finished.

The cobra and 2nd squirrel are replicate from photos the rest are out of my head. The shark is also a tattoo I have on my ribcage...anyway see what think..be gentle.

Nice stuff man! As with anything, the more your practice, the better you get! Some of them could be really cropped down to get rid of whitespace though, for future. user added image user added image

Love the New Posts Ant... great stuff.

and to follow it up more from my MRs.

The Maxim 12/21/10 is the newest one she has drawn, some of them are fairly old just new scans.
I need to get a scan of the Alien pic she did for me in charcoal, is spot on to the creature.. Love it ... I'll see if i can get her to dig that one out...want to frame it anyway and hang it next to my rig.

Crits and comments are welcome, i'm hoping to get her comfortable enough with all of you to via relaying your comments to her, so that she will reg here and post her stuff on her own. and mayhaps start using photoshop. Seems to be an uphill battle though user added image

Hi, here's some of my works. I'm doing digital painting/ composing for a year only and haven't drawn on classic media since ages. Most of the time the only things I paint are textures for my 3D models, so my progress kinda slowed down a bit. I watched a lot of tutorials on digital painting, but still I have problems to get into a loose way of painting like just blocking in some shapes and painting sketchy over that. That's what I want to improve in future.

Don't know why, but most of my pictures I made lately turned out to be blueish, gotta make some colored ones next time!!!user added image

Rage of Ninja

Hey ho!! user added image

Ok here is some of my "Conzept Art" as I`m working on a short movie.
My workflow is to model low poly sets and render it out! bevor that I play with light to ensure I have a mood to work with. Then I start to create a look and feel in PS, to get an idear of how the films intention looks best.

Then I make an animatic from the hole sequences to provide an less extensive high poly modeling part. Only what I see in my Animatic is modeled high poly, thats a lot of time saving process for me, as I did it in past in another way. I modeled the hole scene and than made the shots... realy unlucky...

I think I don´t use any style of the pics.. as you see the story plays in different ages..

I don´t know how you can comment it because its Conzept Art, nothing ready...

HEY I LIKE SM NEW STYLE!!! JEAHR!!user added image
