Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Use the Automatic planner mapping to get the better look and will be easier to deal with it. If the car is in seperate geometry, then UV map each part individually, I use a checker map to help out with UV layouts.

I did about 1hr of work on it today (I've been busy with my bros game) and i started modeling the edge for the doors and the side vent by the door.

The model itself is looking really good but the topology still looks a bit of a mess in places. I know what a pain in the ass and how difficult it is to create a mesh with clean topology but hang in there since this is starting to really take shape.

im having serious problems lately,for some reason when i deleted the spoiler the entire side of the car disconnected from the model when i reconnected it it just spread out and the faces them selves split up so i have to reconnect the whole car:headbang: :headbang:

It looks pretty nice man, if i were you i would use a mirrored smooth proxy so you can interactively change the smoothed model so when you smooth you don't have to adjust anything.

it looks alright especially if it's a first car, but try to maintain good edgeflow==>smooth lines
