simple edge loops question

hi guys,

- i have a corner on a cylinder that i need to sharpen up, but when i add the edge loops either side i end up losing the roundness of the cylinder and sharpening the whole thing - how do people deal with this, im guessing i need to cut into the edge loops somewhere, but modeling isnt my strong point so any pointers on the edge flow for this would be great!

thanks
Nicky
