My Cgtalk Challenge Idea

Just my first idea before focusing on the modeling Going to have a small character not sure what yet ant, mouse or bug traveling on a huge scary river in a boat made out of leaves.

Good luck in the challenge Kurt - it sounds like a good idea. I like your concept sketch, especially the scary tree.

Cheers man!

Maybe if its a bug or sommat, that it's polluted river with dead trees all round and a paradise above some clouds thats his/her goal, or the river gets more life as it goes to the goal??

Need to get my chops so so so so much up to anything before I could do a challange (of any sort!!)!

nice idea kurt,

I'd say minimise/lose the scary tree from the central position and maybe show an expansive river system like in the brazilian rainforests (windy etc) or maybe a large delta entering a huge sea. Just ideas to give that 'huge' journey feeling user added image
