Thanks Jay and Rick
Playing around with some of the mesh settings to get rid of the polys showing in the occlusion render set the hull to smooth 4 for the hull that seams to have done it will need to change the turret to level 3.......dave

Edit:Just done the same for the turret (smooth level 3)second render not sure if this is the correct way of going about it but it looks like it works

haha the best movie with Shermans is Kellys Heroes....they play music to scare the Germans and fire paint instead of shells because it makes 'pretty colors' LMAO

Looks very good Dave -didnt ask, you going to texture this baby??

Sorry THExDUKE did not answer your question I dont think I will rig this one, Jay I think you right about Kellys Heroes I think he swapped the sherman for a tiger at the end LOL, Texturing this one, my plan was to UV each item as I went along, well that went by the board as I got suched into modelling. I think I will leave it as I hope to.......dave

Thanks THExDUKE and Jay
I think track by the week end might be pushing it a bit I still have so much to do, its hard to remember good film that the sherman have been in "saving private Ryan" it got blown to bits, "a brigde to far" they got stuck on a road. Its a shame realy as this tank did help win the war for the British and Americans............dave

I could never quite figure out how a hippie existed in WWII though.

"yeah and in battle we play music, really loudly, it confuses the hell out of the Germans, and we load some of the shells with paint they don't do any damage but they make really pretty patterns, babe. "

Nice updates Dave. It will be great when you've finished the tracks and mirror them over... will really ground this piece.

Kellys Heroes, eh? WWII Hippies? Might just be worth watching.
