Could not get the track to go around the motion path with out flipping in the animation snap shot could get it to go around all right animated but not snapshot, had to see were it flipped then change the motion path to flip at that point, will get there........dave

If you are suffering with graphics card probs because of polys, its because of the preview smooth. turn it off and then chuck a Mental Ray Approximation node on the mesh, so when it renders it will be smooth instead.

Yay, it's finally got tracks! This is a sweet sweet model, I've been quite inspired watching it progress. Keep it up, it looks like you're just about there.

Thank you very much Stwert, if you look through the hole post you will see I started with some thing simple then worked from there I have used mainly the normal tools I think I only used one deformer once. I think this will be the end of me posting updates on this thread and will start a new one if I do texture it...........Thanks again to every one who posted it did help me finish it...........dave

Just to let you guys know that that I am still UVing the beast, did a texture test to see if the turret UVs were OK I think it works............dave

Holy crap dave...sorry I havent dropped in for a while...damn email updates dont seem to be coming through...WELL DONE old boy. That really is a bloody nice model mate...puts me to shame LOL. Good luck with the textures man...painful stuff...it really does need it though...a great model like this needs a bit of colour to show it off.
