why dont you just merge the vertices that you have selected in your screenshot.

A pint of example is worth a gallon of advice!!

either select both and use scale tool to bring them toghther (not good if not flat in x y z directions
or
select one an while in move tool hold 'v' and middle mouse drag it onto the other vert

go to edit polygons and click merge verts(make sure distanc is above 0 i leave it on like 4)

good luck

Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

HI, long time no see! I've unraveled the simple mystery!

Thanks for the advices.

Here's what has gotten me unable to Merge the two vertices, even if I have tried using Merge Tool or Merge Vertices. Since Im new to Maya, I've nevr found making distance above 0. that maybe a serious innocent mistake.

Thanks to PBmAN!
i FOound the answer before i Logged back in.
PBman's supposed to be a detailed advice.

Thanks folks!
