Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Adding pre-made shader to Layered Texture?

I've added some pre-made shaders (.ma) to my Shader Library. I want to add one to a Layered Texture. How would I go about doing that?

Thanks user added image

1. Open the hypershade.
2. Go to the shader Library.
3. Find the shader that you want, and right click on it and click import.
4. On the top of the Hypershade click on your layered texture.
5. Middle mouse button drag the imported shader to the red rectangle on the attribute editor for the layered texture.

From here, I assume that you know how to use a layered texture. But maybe some step was not very clear, in that case just post another message, and I'll try to answer more.

There can not be Good without Evil, so then it must be good to be Evil sometimes.
