Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Safari browser for Simply Maya?

I was just wondering if you had plans to make the tut vids available on Safari?

Hey, we would love to be able to. However, we use clearkey to secure videos. This is an encryption method that every major browser is supposed to support (According to the w3c)

It's supposed to be an open standard everyone can use. Unfortunately, Apple has chosen not to support it instead forcing people to use their own FairPlay DRM system.

So if Safari supports more open web standards at some point yes we will support it.

Hope that explains why we do not.
Nice to see you back on the forums as well

From a readers' Q and A column in TV GUIDE: "If we get involved in a nuclear war, would the electromagnetic pulses from exploding bombs damage my videotapes?"

Thanks for the info David. No problem really anyway, just convenience. I can use google chrome instead. Good to be back btw... been working... a lot! lol. Time is a precious commodity.
Side note... love the new tut on "real world" stuff. How about an alternate future tut on a "fantasy world"? kinda like dark soulsish, zelda-like, dragonlance stuff. (assets, landscapes, etc..)
See ya mate...
