This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

adding refplanes mel script to shelf

Hi all user added image im trying to start the apache tutorial , but i'm having trouble adding the refplanes mel script to the shelf . my problem is i am unable to select the text and place it on the shelf , any help given would be greatly appreciated as i would like to further my knowledge of this software... i am using maya 5 on a Mac user added image

Tried typing it in the script editor and dragging it from there?

If everything else fails, you can just execute the script by pressing enter after you've typed refplanes; in the command line...
