This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

so... this is my first attempt. since 8-10 sec isnt that much at least not to tell a story, I think i start small and then build up if anything occurs to me...

by now it will be still shot maybe with a cam shake in shake (hmmm) afterwards. the plate is big enough and centered well user added image

so.. here my concept with cracks in the damn some water pouring out and the fall of the upper dam pieces.

hey...

i really have a hard time aligning the pic to the grid...

is there any trick... like... well look at this point and this point and there you go....

to get a ref I block out the lower building but I dont get that right either...
please Im losing hair... more than mother nature steals sometimes when I sleep...

Have you tried to adjust the camera's
angle of view and focal length?

yeah I did... I set the numbers for the focal length (10) and the camera aperture (.89 and .59).

do I have to undistort it before????

Another thing you can try. Maybe the lower building you built isn't the correct size or shape. You can use google earth to get a top view reference.

look for the line of perspective (horizon) and then the lines of perspective, if that makes sense!!??
