Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

this is alot harder than i thought it was going to be! coming up with orginally ideas is going to be hard!
i'm guna go with a theme, tools and construction stuff i think, hammers, nuts, bolts etc.

i was getting bored of doing sketches so i opened up maya and had a crack at something.
i'm not going to worry about the midelling and texturing yet, im just guna try and get the main physics of it down first.
this is all dynamics apart form one key on the little cubes mass, is that ok??!

anyway, heres a little playblast. this isnt going to be how its starts, still got to think of something.

Cheers guys...
acid, its all dynamics user added image

haveing a bit of trouble with the little cube at the mo. every time i open the scene up its does a different simulation for a while but after i change a few things it goes back to normal. its very strange...
starting to get the hang of this whole dynamics thing now, this is pretty fun!
