the ambient is a museum/tomb hope u like
some hint avout lighting?? i know is not perfect and could be adjusted.

make a reflection map of your environment and whack that on there. that would help big time!

try the attached script script, it will generate a cubic reflection map for the selected object. (It's taken from some mel scripting book)

Maya hangs user added image if i try to execute script with resolutions up to 512 so i tried to figure myself how reflections map could be and i have this... im happy with this last render ...but i'll work to tweak it better.


how i said this render is 640x480

that looks sweet. It reminds me of a FX demo i got with my 3D card (Voodoo Rush)

Looks good powernemo. However, I'm yet to see any credit given to the original artist that created that head. Does Feng Zhu ring a bell?

u're right this model is inspired to a work of the great and incomparable Feng Zhu... i like his sketch and i'm going to realize all the triad he drawn
