So when I was 15 my parents had a Pizza store. And we had the game joust. Very fun. Looks like you are doing a great job on it.

t1ck135 - Yeah, I was experimenting with the scale between the rider and the bird and I think I have found a nice size relation between the two. Now that I have expect to see them together very soon. As you can see in this small update I have included the bird's beak to show scale and to show some of the new details. A lot of the model is fairly low poly but by no means a game model. I admire anyone who can produce dynamic work with no more than a handfull of polygons. I also really like the sharp, chiseled look of low poly modeling. I think it gives a fresh energetic feel but mostly I just think it looks cool and simple. Maybe someday soon I will limit myself to a couple thousand polys and take a crack at it ... but this is not that day, my friend!

dgustavson - Thank you! As I have mentioned before, JOUST was one of those games that I obsessed on back in the day when pizza parlors were video game meccas and quarters were worth their weight in golduser added image

This will be my final update before presenting some actual painted textures. I've been messing around a bit trying to decide on values for different parts.

'the force is strong in this one' - this is really impressive work swanky, very inspirational.
I really like his facial detail and especially the hair, reminds me of the chaos engine or any bitmap bros related game user added image

Oh yeah, Jay ... Thanks for that grid bud! Its a lot easier on the eyes than the multi-colored one I've been using.

heres a bit more progress. Getting the armor the way I want it is gonna take some node wrangling. More to come soon ...
