purchasing maya and why forums not searchable

hello - total newbie

Love Maya but sick of the watermark in PLE, anyway to buy license for Maya without going into bankrupcy? or am I

tried to search through forums to see if someone had already posted this or a similar question but no luck. Is there a search function on the site?

You can get a Student licence thats about £350, but you can only use it for portfolio building.

Great site for anything u need. Much cheaper than normal.
Maya's about 300 there.
