How can I simulate the explosion of a plane?
Hi!
Can someone tell me how to make an object explode? I know how to make an exploding fireball and so on, but how do I let explode an object...

You'd more than likely create shrapnel and debris models and animate them individually, with dynamics, or using particle instancing...

How about blowing up a house!!!

Check this out:
http://cade.scope.edu/courseware/not...ena/index.html

56K WARNING! There is a 1 MB video that starts to load when opening the page, so use the navigation bar on the left instead of just waiting for the page to finish loading. When you click on the explosion link, then another 1.4 MB movie of a house exploding starts to load.

Other than that it's great! You even get the scene file.
