Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

hey that looks really cool. the only thing I dont like is the texture you used on the roof of the one tower and the gates....this green is ugly...sorry m8, but I suggest using a some wood planks.
its a bit more work but it will look much better

Good Stuff so far VK.

I disagree with the roof comment though. There is a Roman Catholic church in the town where I used to live and its the same if not brighter, I think its made of 2 metals including copper, hence the green oxide color because of the damp.

Yeah the blue/green roof is from a referent, in one of my books. So Jango is right on that oneuser added image

here a pic, but as far as what i'm going for is a mix of castles, as well as imaginationuser added image with out imagination it wouldn't be as fun IMO.

yeah...that is right...copper oxidates to a green color when its older...but the point is that this green is a bit strange, isn't it?
and it doesn't look like the roof at your reference either... user added image

Well that where imagination comes in, i'm not going for an all around real look either. Also some of the texture are not final at this time. So the green look may be different lateruser added image
