This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

using other's shaders

I have not found documentation on how to use custom shaders.
How do I use someone elses shader? Where do I install them?

in the hypershade go to file/import. and import the texture file.

should be in a .mb file
