Good to see some people joining in! user added image Yeah, we're halfway through August but who knows, could still pump out something cool. Good luck!

Did you review the challenge guidelines thread? Eggs with actual hands and faces probably won't be found in any kitchen, I know if I saw one I'd run.

Nice work, those images brought a smile to my face.

I think you should continue working on it for a final piece, let me know if you want me to move this thread to the Work in Progress section where it will get some more views.

Cheers,
Nilla

final

I live in south Louisiana and so Hurricane Isaac hit me pretty hard on August 28. I had no running water for two days and no electricity for five days.

This is my final pic for this project; it doesn't stay true to the competition per say.

That's a great final, very funny idea.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, hope things work out for the better over there. Last summer I was in the hottest country in Europe where the government stored munitions containers next to the main power station which blew up when a grass fire got too close. The electricity went 3-4 times a day for several hours at the time, no water, rotten food in shops etc.

Strange experience, teaches you to appreciate things you take for granted, well for a while at least.
