Hmmm tuning down the blinn's reflectivity may help you. You may want to do some tries with varying Eccentricity and Specular roll off.

I’ve did it, what you mentioned above, and it still not working.
For example in denfoshaders I saw a few metallic shaders and those shaders looks so real, but I don’t want to use them because I want to learn to make my own shaders.
So how can they do those shaders?
I edited a graph for a metallic shader downloaded from there and a saw a bunch of nods there and I was unable to understand what are those doing, what is the functionality of those nodes, etc.
Please be more specific in explications user added image or point me to a good metallic shaders tutorial.
Thanks.

Now I'm curious, specificly what kind of metallic surface do you wish to mimic?

For example the shiny types of metals like nickel, chrome, aluminum, cooper, etc.

Hello to everybody,

In the past week I managed to make the rest of the scene for my cyborg and I texture it.
I will post now the pictures of my cyborg from different angles, to include all the details.

OK here is the picture no.1

Yes its Australia… hmmm… it’s so obvious.
In deed Australia is a GREAT country and I have an affinity to it that’s the cause of his representation on Cyborgs map.

By the way YOU are from Australia, don’t you?
Is there anybody else from Australia who post in this forum?
