well as long as heskey dont play and david james is not in goal, we might actually win a game,

But I think we will be lucky to get a draw from any game... simply put.. England are not good enough and all hype

I don't know Kevin I think we can atleast beat Switzerland.
I hope they do so I can save some face here in Switzerland.

I guess if England goes out I will still have Portugal to support (my wife is Portugese)

Although I don't see Portugal going very far either :-( They are very talented but mentally fragile.

grrrrr!!!!

France will prolly win it all, tho I see croatia or portugal as potential winners aswell..

England has too weak a team, with to few options of play.. They simply wont make it ..

But ofcause I cheer for Denmark to win again !!

- Hvor du fra ? .. jeg 'fra Danmark !! :p

Croatia CANNOT WIN!!! All their good players have retired.

Denmark is capable of doing some damage to the big teams.

Portugal have quite a talented side, but seem to lack the necessary bottle to produce the goods when required.

I really hope England do well and prove the doubters wrong.

When England click they play some great football, unfortunately it only seems to click once every blue moon.

France, as always, have a very good chance - as do Holland.

cheers

I have a Portuguese background. I actually go there every year. Anyways I really wish they win but they alsways seem to choke in any championship.

roach105 I love Portugal...too much man!!! I love Lisbon as well. I go there a lot as well my wife is from Lisboa :-)

Yes Portugese don't have bottle and are chokers. I hope they play this tournament like the played against Poland in the world cup and not like they played against USA and S.Korea.

That world cup was so hard to stomach!!!!

I already see bad omen in the portugese squad thanks to Figo. Did you hear that he was complaining about Deco being in the side. Wtf is Figos problem????

Every national team is full of people of foreign origin. Look at England, look at France 90% black...even Germany had 2-3 Players of Polish origin.

I personally think if you are a citizen of a country and you love the country and live there and want to play for it then I don't see any problem. I think Figo is just jealous that Deco will replace him eventually.

I wish I had gone to Portugal for this tournament!!!

COCORICO ! Allez la France...
We were shot down at the rugby world cup by England, soccer will be our revenge...

Then my heart goes also to Holland and Belgium (not qualified i think) because of the proximity of those countries which i find lovely.

Yup! Figo just makes way to much money. portugal has many more stars below him. Honestly I think Figo would not be missed if he did not play for the team.

lol well its about 20 mins to go in the first game and portugal are performing again to there normal ways...

Figo was the worst player on the pitch....again..

They was embarrased last world cup and look the same again Im afraid... so many big names that simply cant play in the same shirt.
