Comments on my Church please!

Hey guys! I'm a newbie to this site, I think its great and I've just bought the DVD - need some more practice on organic modelling.

I'd like any comments on this church that I modelled for a Uni project, all comments will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Lisa G

Firstly welcome to Simply Maya, this place is full of cool people who'll hopefully make ya feel at home in the world of Maya!!!

Nice image and in sepia too!! Only have a couple of comments, the leaves dont seem to be attached to the ends of the branches and also I think you should put in some Paint FX grass at the bottom of the grave stones, thats it really

Exact same thing as the mighty Jango said plus I would play a bit with the DoF to make the front leaves and tombs stones out of focus a bit.

Maybe also adding some small clouds in the sky too?

Overall, I like it!

Nice work! Only thing I can put my finger on is that it seems as if the tombstones doesn't cast shadows, which make it seem a bit (don't know if "fake" is the right word, but at least odd)...
