Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Particle problems

I am about to throw my computer out the window. I have made a particle emitter and i have a nurbs plane. I click on the particles and then shift click the plane and go to particles and then make collide. I set the resilience o and the friction to 1 ( as every place i go to find out how says) but the particles still fall right through. does anyone know whats goin on? this is really pissing me off.

ummm, make sure you turn off or update your cache if you have one on.

Rewind to the start frame incase you havnt allready.

if not those go to windows> relationship editors > dynamic relationships> select your particle shape node and click the collisions radio button and make sure its connected up to the collision object properly.
