Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

Very...interesting, to say the least. One thing tho. The back half/snake part, looks too high to be snake. Shouldnt it be alittle more round??

ah yah, well actually, this isn't the pose when i modeled her, i just tinkered with the joints and somehow got her to pose like that..and it seemed to mess up that part making it less round.. user added image

nice model so far. u dont need to blurr out the breasts here. everyone has enought maturity (i hope) to respect the anatomy of a woman

hey, i learned most of basic modeling in Maya help file. They have a tutorial on how to use Polygon Proxy Mode in Sub-Division. And it tells u step by step on making a hand.

2nd day of learning Maya, i made a decent hand... so i bet u can make a really good one from following that. when done u can probably just attach them in polygons.

lol, breasts are nice.

i think the best thing here is the connection of human torso and the snake body. The point where body and snake meet.

if u want sides of her boobies a little bit less creased, probably possible by using "Smooth" in "Sculpt Surfaces Tool" in poly-proxy mode.

but that is your choice. not right or wrong but i think it might look better with lesser crease on sides of boobies. So try that and see if it does look better or not.
