Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

M4 Carbine

Hey Lads,

Decided a few days ago to get back into some modeling haven't done any for about 2 years!

Thought I would shake the dust off with a small project of a M4 Carbine.

Constructive criticism is hugely appreciated... as I mentioned I have been out of form for a long time.

Cheers,

Andy

Looks pretty good for three hours work, especially as you're a but rusty. I Look forward to seeing this one develop.

Half Way through!

Update on how things are turning out I'm about half way through and would appreciate any comments or crits especially in regards to the wireframe from a texturing point of view.

Cheers, Andy

One side done!

Ok so I have completed one side of the M4. However, there is still more detail that needs to be added. Any thoughts on crits are appreciated!

It's looking really good but everything I see it, i'm drawn to the grip, specifically the backside of it. Although it looks great, I think rounding it out would make it even better. Being flat across the back like that would make it pretty uncomfortable to shoot after a day of battle.

Some more - Please let me know your throughts... I don't want to go onto texturing too early if the model isn't right.
