Complex UV Layout in Maya

Black screen , then a kinda mist forms upwards , completly random

and forms into the word newcott

is that any better

You could have the word "newcott" as a transparent poly and use it as a goal for particles, and have the emitters set to cloud particles and then they will be atracted to the "Goal" and the word will become solid/misty, depending on the particles..
