I would like to see a dirtier version, if you are using mia materials you can use the "layered texture node" to connect dirt maps via a "surface shader"...............dave

I will say the tires look a bit CG maybe it is because the don't have any logos or text like tires usually have. but that's the only thing i can see and again great job mate.

awesome! I agree though with dave by it looking super clean, its a bit show room render, as opposed to a real car in that environment. also, did you match the grain to the backplate?

@dave & Juanpax, she is a too squeaky clean. She needs to be dirtied up. Showroom condition but by coincidence I actually did model the speedo as it was about to turn back to 0. But that is not an excuse.

@nickynacky, not yet. I'll have to eyeball it in PS with noise.

Something else that bugs me. The backplates and spherical plate aren't colour matched. The backplates appears to be half an hour or so before the spherical map. The spherical map has way more blue than the backplate. You can see it in the reflections on the roof and hood where the reflection flips from the backplate to the environment.

an extremely nice model!
kinda agree about the tires, but the rest of the car is absolutely beautiful,
and that last render is damned near photo perfect
Had a grandmother who owned that car, brings back fond memories

dunno if I'd muddy it up tho ........
it's an antique and a classic, most cars you see like that in today's world, are in perfect showroom condition

Reworked the whole post-production workflow to be fully linear which made a big difference. That also gave me the time to learn how to use mip_render_subset. Saves a lot of render time when tweaking only certain parts of the image (Like the wheels ).

Starting on the rear-end view and interior shots.

Looks great! Nice job on the trim as well. What shape did you begin with or did you use curves, for the body that is? I'm getting hung up on a few vehicles myself. I never know if a plane or cylinder for a starting point. Do you start with the wheel wells (openings) as well?
