This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
it looks like lego - only that you cannot distinguish between the single pieces. maybe that is on purpose. looks like though as if no lego man fits behind the wheel
yeah, kinda sucks that you can't distinguish between the pieces. I snaped them all together, so when you render, you can't see the seperate pieces... Is that bad? should I have left a break between the pieces, so it looks more realistic? Thanks,
Brian
it depends what you want to do. if you only want the lego look or if you want realism all the way. if you try to animate the building of the car - like set a keyframe at the end, and in the begiining splatter the pieces around, it would be cool when two pieces if they go together somehow melt and connect to one piece
.. too color coordinated. you got to make it a single different colored block or its just not "Lego", ive been wanting to make some lego stuff for a while.. i have bukets full of them. i coudl easily make a model... Throw the pieces together and make one, piece by piece it should be pretty simple right? Just lining them up thats hard.
You have to make a lego man now too. Maybe you can give me some tips.

Man , that's cool , did you did it from a sketch ,a photo or you had a lego brochure (or what is that called)?
And 1 thing , does a lego have rounded pieces (above the wheel)
