Unit Scale

Asked in my challenge thread, but may be seen by more here, so...

For environments, use 1 unit = 1 foot (or 3 units = 1 meter for the metric among us ) to help you with scale. Make sure entryways are at least 6 units (6 feet/2 meters) tall and 4 units (4 feet/1.3 meters) wide. Feel free to make them larger.

What units are used? If it's the grid units, then what should the grid be set to? I tried setting my grid to represent feet, and the building grew to where I could no longer see it.

I apologize if this is a very silly question, but I can't find it in my books anywhere. user added image

I usually keep it at its default of centimeters. Maya doesn't really seem to care what you set it at. I keep it at centimeters.
