Dec/Jan - Noob - Supra Devil

I finally decided to enter this compition finally....but there is a problem i have very little almost no experince in texturing....i dont know why but its really hard for me to apply and desing textures though i have photoshop and am good with it.

So i have decided to desing a two door japense car. Though i may dont have any chance but i guess i should try. Do people who come second and thrid get anything even annouced as there position?. Some what of an idea of what i am aiming for :-

If you're going for photo realism, I recomend getting some blueprints and actually sticking them into the scene as image planes that you can use as a guide. Right now the proportions seem off.

As for the wheels, when you create the cylinders for them, lower their subdivisions in the Input options in the channel box before modifying them.

no i am not going for photo realism and if i go for blue prints method then it will take atleast a month or even more for me to complete it. i started on a 15 day project. let this be if i am not even close o winning ill start early in the next compitition and try again. will the prizes change? and plus the photo realism goes upto 120,000 tris
