Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Here goes another

...pic...

edit:

Oh, this isnt a pose.
I want to complete the legs and all before toying with interesting poses. It will be a tree (!) climbing mech in the diorama I'll make for this model.

I must say I have learned a LOT about nurbs curves today. I figured out some problems that appeared from time to time earlier. GREAT!

The gun is inspired by an actual artillery piece. But I'll make some artistical choices along the way.

Excellent work!, glad you got to know a bit more about Nurbs, nothing like some time-pressure to grease those brain nerves into thinking for solutions you can efffectively use in the creation of a project like the one you are undertaking now.

-updated now-

nice texturing
and warped texturing on ya ant man wheres it weaponary ?

i said it was the first try to make the parts distinguish, and it needs no weapons, as it is only a transporter for other mecha, and it is big enough to give a good target if you are any near it , it might trample you down with its feet ...
