Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Align Vertices Of Polygon

What command is normally used for aligning many of the
vertices of polygon, to a plane, construction plane or
view plane ?
Help on this matter is appreciated.

What do you mean? Do you want to align the vertices to a spot on the grid or other vertices?

depending what you want to do, try holding down v to snap to vertices, x for the grid or c for curves. also have a play with the constrain option in the move tool... but yeah, for a more specific answer you might want to be a bit more specific in your question. user added image

Align Vertices Of Polygon

After using "Append To Polygon Tool", I want to align row of vertices horizontally or vertically of the model, before modeling
starts.
To make it much easier to describe, there is such a tool in Cinema4D " Structure > Set Point Value "
Similar tool in Maya ???
