Does this have to be strictly European Medieval/Fantasy or can it include medieval/feudal japan or china as well? Samurai? Etc.?

Perhaps the rules should state a specific time period and people could then research countries at that time and do something on it.

LOL. I noticed that all except 1 person spelled "m-e-d-i-e-v-a-l" wrongly in their thread names... and now they have all been changed by someone with appropriate power in the forum. user added image user added image user added image

question about the final render. what size may it be? i am not satisfied if it would be a 1024x768. it is landscape - i would like if we have freedom to choose the format. i would like to have my final render a square format, at least 1024x1024. i would love a 1500x1500 - but that is a bit too big, even though i just tested it - and there is still detail unused - but that i dont ask for - the 1k square would be great to have.

what you guys think?

yeah, I think that 640x480 might be too small for the final. I'd like to submit mine at something larger - maybe up to 1024x768.

well i think (moderators - correct me if I'm wrong) that since it is a 'January Challenge' that the deadline would be the 31st.

I'm hoping to get mine done a few days early
