Lighting not visible behind VRay Glass

Hello Fello Mayans.
I hope all of you are well.
Recently I've encountered an issue with my lighting not being visible behind the Vray glass material in my scene. All of the resources I've come across online make mention of enabling "Affect Shadows" within the Refraction field of my Vray Glass mtl. Did this and still not able to make the lighting visible in scene (see top left - black lights). I'm also getting some spotty artifacts in the scene (mainly visible on the floor, wall and some furniture).

Any suggestions you have to assist this newbie would be much appreciated. Thank you!
