how can i make tubes?

how can i create a bunch of tubes that comes out of one point, just trying to experiment with an abstract image. user added image

You could do a bunch of extrude surface functions with polygon outputs, then merge and combine them at the point you want them to...

Maybe this script helps you:

Create Tube v1.4
This script creates nurbs tubes with optional caps from nurbs curves or surface isoparms.
