it was a rain effect. When I rendered out the seen in maya I made sure there was a alpha channel that cut out the window parts. When I composited the scene I had the maya scene on the top layer, the rain effect on the next layer,then the background. I think I also multiplied or overlayed the rain effect layer and background so it blended in nicely. It was really simple actually.Originally posted by I-Iybrid

.I do remember how I wondered about your rain effect and the lightning flash.
