Maps for maps?

Hi, could someone help me out with a bump map question? I want to use my specular map to control where my bump map is placed, so that it doesn't just cover the whole object?
Many thanks, James. user added image

You could use the multiply node found in utilities and multiply the bump with the spec map, that would leave zero bump where the spec is black and one where the spec is white.
