Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Pentax

Although my modelling isn't up to the standard i'd like it to be at, it is improving and thats more than i can say for my UV mapping skills (or rather lack of skills). So you may think it looks more like a W.I.P without any textures, but my goal never was to texture it as UVs give me a headache.

Modelling skills not where you want them to be?! Dude! Don't be so hard on yourself (although pushing yourself helps improving your skills, I know...)
This is a great model, don't let anyone tell you otherwise...

Thank you. I'm not saying this is a bad model and even though i admit my modelling has come on loads since i started, i can't deny there's still a lot of room for improvement when you look at the people out there who are good enough to be doing this for a living, and although i'm fairly happy as a student at the moment one day in a few years time i'd like to be able to go for that job we've all dreamed of having, where you don't just go home and model stuff but get told to open maya and start modelling that concept on your desk. So like i said

my modelling isn't up to the standard i'd like it to be at

but maybe one day it will.
